Just got back from a week in Australia at the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association annual international conference!

It was great to be able to highlight some of our research! And at the same time, I learned heaps from top strength and conditioning coaches. Looking forward to integrate some of these things for my athletes!

It’s funny how mostly people associate the importance of braking with gravity racing performance…but this XC study we did shows how important braking is for XC racers! And get this: we can calculate how fast you can go around an XC loop by knowing how hard you pedal and how you brake. Looking forward to the future of this [smaller and more convenient] device!
